Theoretical and computational neurobiology.
- Synaptic function: excocytosis, transmitter release and diffusion, calcium influx and calcium stores.
- Smooth muscle: bidomain models, interpretation of intracellular and extracellular recordings, detailed modelling of individual cells.
- Neural network models of associative memory.
- Developmental neurobiology.
