Geometry was born from practical needs in ancient civilisations. Over the years, geometry
has pushed boundaries of abstract and philosophical thought,
facilitated scientific discoveries, and left an imprint in the finest art pieces.
Join Milena Radnović for “Geometry: the archetype of beauty“, a journey through the field of geometry.
High school students are invited to two after-school workshops (4:00–6:00pm) in Law Annex Seminar Room 342:

Wednesday 13 March: “Ruler-and-compass vs origami” presented by Zsuzsanna Dancso
Students considering higher-level mathematics study are highly encouraged to attend.
