Algebra Seminar

Classical and quantum integrability in maximally supersymmetric gauge theories

Foda

Friday 16th August, 12:05-12:55pm, Carslaw 373

Speaker:

Omar Foda (University of Melbourne)

Title:

Classical and quantum integrability in maximally supersymmetric gauge theories

Abstract:

I wish to start by recalling basic concepts and definitions related to quantum and classical integrable models. This part should be self contained.

Following that, I wish to outline

  1. How quantum integrability can be used to compute certain objects in maximally supersymmetric gauge theories, and
  2. Current attempts to use classical integrability to compute the corresponding asymptotics.

We will take the speaker to lunch after the talk.
