In the present talk, we prove that a subcategory C of the module category over a class of infinite dimensional algebras R has almost split sequences and the strong homogeneous property; that is, for each indecomposable module M in C there is an almost split sequence starting and ending at M. It is also proved that C is equivalent to a related projective category L. Moreover, C is of tame representation type if and only if L is semisimple, and C is strictly void if and only if L is not semisimple.
